#Updated poladroid update
We've found that most people with similar experiences leave the app in the background or completely closes the app during an update load which disrupts the process or the printer shuts off.
#Updated poladroid zip
Hello! I'm sorry to hear that you are having a terrible experience when it comes to updating the Polaroid Zip application. I loved it up to this point, now it’s useless. I either need to be able to use my printer, or I need a refund for it. Today I tried again to print and guess what? Need to update firmware. Finally I just deleted the app and reinstalled it. It sat at 100% for over an hour again, never finished. I was back to the beginning- need to update firmware. It sat at 100% without finishing for over an hour. I don’t need the feature it’s promoting, but I can’t get past it- so fine. When I try, I’m told I need to update the firmware which will take 20 minutes. The firmware update worked fine and my printer is working again. I updated my iOS, then deleted this app, and reinstalled it. Update: I called Polaroid customer service and they were helpful. I’m gonna hang in there, keep up the good work guys. Thanks for the changes I look forward to even greater future changes. Overall the app is nice, it could really be great with a little attention and fine tuning well here’s to wishing. I just make my collages with a different app then print the entire photo with the printer, I know a shame I have to do all that but I’m not big on a lot of unnecessary complaining. I wish there was an explanation of each of the settings in the app and unfortunately I can’t use the collage setting because every time I go into it and start choosing photos the app shuts off, oh well. My pictures are a tad bit brighter with a little manipulation. I was like here we go again an entire new app. Well I picked it back up a couple days ago. I had stopped using this printer last summer a couple months after buying it because they totally changed the entire app and I just hated the way the prints where coming out. Our Development Team is working hard to resolve what you are experiencing and will notify you once an update is available. We’re on it! Know that we value your feedback and an update is on the way. What if I want to actually fill the whole paper and not have white borders or what if I wanted to purposely offset the photo for other artistic details? This is not as important as the pixelation but eventually I would like to have this feature back.Īside from those issues, the app looks much cleaner than before. This was verified by printing a few old pictures in portrait mode to compare with the same photo previously printed before the major update.Īnother minor issue that is missing from the previous iteration is actually able to move the photo while in print preview. Yes the update corrected the screen pixelation but the print still comes out pixelated as if someone sent the printer a low resolution of the final result. Portrait mode on the other hand is extremely pixelated. When I print in landscape mode, the prints come out good as before. Let’s get the bad stuff out of the way, actual printing.

Portrait printing is printing at low resolution
